The IPv6 Forum is a non-profit organisation registered in Luxembourg since 17th July 1999. The Internet Engineering Task Force has sole authority for IPv6 protocol standards. The IPv6 Forum reserves the right to develop IPv6 Deployment Guides to foster the operational use of IPv6.
The IPv6 Forum is a world-wide consortium of worldwide leading Internet vendors, Industry Subject Matter Experts, Research and Education Networks, with a clear mission to advocate IPv6 by dramatically improving technology, market, and deployment user and industry awareness of IPv6, creating a quality and secure new generation Internet and allowing world-wide equitable access to knowledge and technology, embracing a moral responsibility to the world.
The IPv6 Forum Education Logo Program was established under IPv6 Forum to promote capacity building in the area of IPv6 since its establishment. This program provides guidelines for the Authorised Training Provider (ATP) in term designing the curriculum under various IPv6 topics and conducting the courses in their respective country or region to train the engineers on IPv6 technology. Upon completion of this training programme, the engineers can apply to IPv6 Forum Education Logo Program via the portal to be listed as certified IPv6 engineers. Globally there several thousand engineers already listed as certified engineers under this programme.
This program has been managed by team of professionals and expert from both the industry and institute of higher learning whom have very long experience in the field of ICT and IPv6 technology.
